Christmas in Review

Christmas this year was almost literally, "The Twelve Days of Christmas".

On the first day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Toured the beautiful Garden d'Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and froze our buns off.

On the second day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Rode the Santa Train with our PEPS friends!

On the third day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Got into the Spirit of Christmas at the Three Wise Men SPC Holiday concert - Amazing!

On the fourth day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Enjoyed a 4-day Christmas visit with Grandma Judi, Grandpa Mark, and Auntie Ali

On the fifth Day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Celebrated our nephew Greyson's 2nd birthday with a big party! (Ok, not a "Christmas" celebration, but a gathering of friends and family)

On the sixth Day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Decorated Christmas Cookies with our PEPS Group (ie. Made a huge mess at Annelise's new house! Thanks for hosting!)

On the seventh Day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Spent the night at Papa Doug and Grandma Augusta's house for a stress-free Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

On the eighth day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Opened the rest of the presents under our tree at our house, relaxed, and played! Hayden got a new Glide Bike.

On the ninth day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Said good-bye to the Subaru Outback and Hello to our Toyota Sienna minivan (The BEST Christmas present ever -- 5 years ago I would have never said that!!)

On the tenth day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Spend a couple days in Portland with Phil's Grandpa Greg (recovering from bypass surgery), and mom Doris. Hayden LOVED his Monster Trucks and RC Cars from Grandma Doris. And Brooklyn enjoyed her first experience with solid food!

On the eleventh day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Took Hayden to the Portland Children's Museum and had a great time! Brooklyn stayed home with Grandma Doris and it was great to have special time with Hayden.

On the twelfth day of Christmas the Lott Family did we:
Came back home to reality.
What could be better: Mommy and Baby, cooking in the kitchen, with a glass of wine?! (look at how Brooklyn is eying that glass!)

And thanks to all our friends and family who sent Christmas cards. We enjoyed receiving and displaying them next to our dining table. Hayden especially liked pointing out different people and smiling as he recognized their pictures.

Happy 2010! Now that the holidays are over, I'm trying to catch up on work and blogging. Stay tuned for January's recap.

great recap! Wow, you guys really stayed busy last month!
Hayden looks like such a big boy in these pictures, particularly the one of him and Ali :)
I loved seeing how you all celebrated, and I am totally jealous of your mini-van!
